The Annual Driver Training for Authorized University Drivers course is required for employees, students, and volunteers who drive GSU-owned vehicles. This course is for those who have previously been approved as GSU Authorized University Drivers and have completed the in-person NSC Defensive Driving Course. This course is an overview of dos and don’ts for safe driving. The goal of the course is to promote safer driving behaviors for GSU employees and to decrease the number of accidents in GSU-owned vehicles. You will be required to complete and submit a motor vehicle record (MVR) authorization form and Driver Acknowledgment form annually to Insurance & Risk Management along with a copy of your driver’s license in order to maintain clearance to drive GSU-owned vehicles.
